New Church Plants
2016 has been a banner year for Florida Church Partners! We are extremely grateful to generous partner churches across the state and to visionary church planters that are making this church planting movement possible. With Florida’s population growth crossing the 20 million mark, making the Sunshine State the third largest state in the nation, there is no better time to partner in the planting of new, life-giving churches than now.
Two new churches are launching in late autumn this year. Vintage Church is ready to reach the residents of St. Augustine proper. As a church for people who don’t like church, Vintage is bringing new hope to America’s oldest city. Thrive Church is being planted in a fast growing region of Orlando called Lake Nona. Lake Nona has emerged as a highly influential community with its globally renowned Medical City. With only one church building serving a community of 58,000 that will triple in population by 2025, there is real need for a new church like Thrive.
Florida Church Partners is also excited to partner in the launch of two new multi-site church campuses. Multi-site campuses are proving to be one of the most effective ways to reach unchurched people across our state and nation. This fall, Salty Church will launch its third campus in Flagler Beach. For over 10 years, Salty’s unique beach vibe and vision to rescue and empower people has helped it become one of FCP’s most successful plants. It’s exciting to see that vision expand into Flagler Beach.
By the start of 2017, Christ’s Church in Jacksonville will launch a new campus in World Golf Village. Situated in a strategic area of St. John’s County, the fastest growing county in Florida, this new campus of one of Florida’s largest churches will reach people who need Jesus for decades to come.
Please remember all of these new churches in your prayers, and check out them here.
